Each Philips 8200 TV variant is equipped with a UHD LED display that supports high resolutions of up to 4K. Image quality is enhanced via the brand’s P5 Perfect Picture Engine with Dolby Vision support, which set the TV’s screen to deliver more depth to details, crisp contrast, and vivid colours. Also onboard is the High Dynamic Range Plus feature for an optimised viewing experience for HDR10+ video formats. Audio-wise, the new TVs come with dual 8W full-range Dolby Atmos-tuned speakers. With a combined output of 16W, the brand claims that the 8200 series’ speakers are capable of filling an entire room with well-balanced sound, while at the same time retaining the audio quality’s clarity, detail, and depth. Of course, if you wish to add a bit more “oomph” to your home cinema experience, each PUT8215 TV also comes with optical digital audio connectivity for external speakers.
Being Android-based, you can expect the new Philips 8200 TVs to feature several smart functionalities as well. Included are voice-based controls via Google Assistant, smart home management tools, and the ability to install additional Android apps via Google Play Store or Philips App Gallery. Streaming services such as YouTube and Netflix are also pre-installed on each model. The 8200 series 4K Android TVs can be purchased through all authorised Philips distributors starting today. In terms of pricing, the 50-inch PUT8215 model retails at RM2,799, the 55-inch at RM3,199, while the 70-inch flagship is at RM6,499. (Source: Philips Malaysia [1] [2] [3])
