Well, okay then. Per The Hollywood Reporter: Universal has picked up an untitled spec written by Jimmy Warden that Lord and Miller, the triple-threat filmmakers behind such offbeat comedies such as 21 Jump Street and The Lego Movie, will produce. Radio Silence — consisting of Matt Bettinelli-Olpin, Tyler Gillett and Chad Villella — will shepherd the project, with Bettinelli-Olpin and Gillett directing and Villella producing. As of yet, there is no official logline, but the movie was reportedly pitched as a hybrid of 2019’s R-rated comedy Good Boys and the survival-thriller starring Leonardo DiCaprio, The Revenant....

Unfortunately, users of the web version of WhatsApp will be disappointed to know that the new video and voice call features have not been implemented just yet. It is not known when the company is planning to roll out the update for that particular platform. Launching the new functions on desktop is similar to how it is done via the mobile version of WhatsApp. Simply open up a chat window and then click on either the video camera or phone icon on top to start the respective type of call....

Two-step verification protects your account in case you ever become a victim of SIM swapping. Once enabled, you will have to enter a six-digit PIN every time you log into WhatsApp from a mobile device, in addition to the six-digit registration code you receive via SMS. From the screenshots posted by WABetaInfo, desktop users will be able to enable or disable two-step verification, change the PIN, and even the email address for resetting the PIN....

As usual, the developer team at WABetaInfo discovered the new feature from the recent Whasapp beta client. Though only available on the iOS version for now, the website says that WhatsApp is planning to also introduce the function to its Android and Desktop beta builds via a future update. In its current form, the ability to transfer money through the app is powered by Facebook Pay. This is opposed to its own WhatsApp Pay that it used during last year’s trial. But specifics aside, the idea behind the service is the same. You can transfer money to another person or business through the app itself, rather than having to use another app. To use this, users will have to tie a supported debit or credit card to their WhatsApp account....

The Verge reports that someone who recently bought the still unreleased Xbox Series X controller sent an image of its box over. The box still had an orange sticker telling retailers to not sell or display them until 6 November. According to a recent report by Amanz, a listing of the Xiaomi 13 Pro has been spotted in SIRIM’s e-ComM database, indicating its (and possibly the entire series’) imminent arrival for the local market. A screenshot included by the publication also revealed that this particular variant received its approval from the organisation very recently on 2 December 2022. However, it also appears that the device may have been published prematurely, as the listing no longer exists after conducting our own search in the database....

Design-wise, the design contour of the new phone looked almost similar to the original Black Shark although Black Shark Helo no longer features the huge structure on its back.
