The move by the Cupertino company is part of a greater effort to curtail the spread of misinformation as other tech giants begin to do the same. One example is Google; it was discovered that the search engine began disabling searches for apps affiliated with the words “Coronavirus” or “COVID-19”. Typically, some of these unofficial apps allow iPhone users to views statistics and information about countries with confirmed cases of the Coronavirus....

The report by Bloomberg states that the mask looks notably different compared to the usual surgical mask. For one, it covers a considerably larger area at the top and bottom, for the wearer’s nose and chin. The strings are also adjustable to fit the individual wearer. For years, users and campaigners have lobbied the tech giant to implement a formalised method of accessing emails, photos, and other contents of a loved one’s iCloud account after their death. We have seen several big signs of Apple Pay’s arrival in Malaysia over the past few weeks. However, we reckoned that there is no bigger indicator than this: actual physical signage at a retail store. According to Twitter user @riisams, he spotted this signage at a Maxis Centre in Selangor this morning. We tried to find the signage ourselves at the nearest Maxis Centre to our HQ which is the branch at the Gardens Mall but it was not there which means that particular branch may have jumped the gun....

Early reports initially suggested that the iPhone XS and XS Max were to be the first phones receive Apple Pencil support, but that clearly wasn’t the case. Since then, Apple has already released a 2nd generation of the Pencil, which launched alongside last year’s iPad Pro. At one point, even famed Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said that the idea of an iPhone carrying Pencil support is a possibility, but fell short of stating when exactly that would be....

According to leaker Jon Prosser and analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the new MacBook Air will apparently come with a white bezel and several new colours similar to the M1 iMac lineup. Gurman has put a damper on these reports by calling them “exaggerated” and claiming that the new lineup will most likely feature the regular space grey, silver, and gold, though the gold colour will feature a more “champagne” hue....

The patent details how the AR headset can view an augmented reality environment with images overlaid on top. The augmented reality environment can be interacted with, using touch-sensitive surfaces such as touchpads and touch-screen displays. The headset will potentially be able to communicate with connected devices without getting tangled in wires. Another patent describes a method for representing points of interest in a real environment on the headset. The headset will likely feature a camera that is able to identify and annotate point of interests and other objects in the view....

ASUS says that the AI that’s used with the ROG Strix Go 2.4 learns from “a massive, deep-lersning database to accurately identify and counteract environmetal noises”. The company also has audio samples of different types of noise cancellations on the headset’s product page to illustrate the differences between them. As the name suggests, the headset makes use of the 2.4GHz WiFi band for its wireless capability. This is primarily done through a USB-C adapter....

The MCU, for all its greatness, has regularly been criticised for its less than exemplary special effects. cough Black Panther cough. However, the same can’t be said about the final battle of Avengers: Endgame. Directors Joe and Anthony Russo along with their VFX team crafted something that is borderline flawless and utterly believable. Believe it or not, it was shot mostly in front of a giant green screen. Despite the efforts, leaked footage from Endgame have started to circulate online, much to the annoyance of directors Joe and Anthony Russo and fans. The footage is approximately five minutes long and reveals a pivotal battle sequence.
