Officially, the program will end in December 2018. That said, the Nintendo US support page states that the company has already stopped accepting video and channel registrations into the program. It also states that Nintendo will not review any of them that have already been submitted, but are unregistered.
— Nintendo of America (@NintendoAmerica) November 29, 2018 In the place of the Creators Program, Nintendo now has a set of general guidelines for content creators. Specifics aside, this will make Nintendo more like any other publisher when it comes to making YouTube videos. Nintendo will also not be claiming a cut from any ad revenue made by content creators, from the look of things. With this, you can probably expect more video reviews of, say, Pokémon: Let’s Go by YouTubers instead of just big name outlets. (Source: Nintendo [1], [2], [3], [4])
