The earbuds are stored in a tray located on the right side of the laptop, where it will be charged when not in use. Lenovo claims that the earbuds have a battery life of over three hours, and will only require around 30 minutes to have it fully charged when stored. It will automatically connect with the ThinkBook 15 Gen 2 when removed from the tray, and could also be paired with other Bluetooth-enabled devices such as smartphones. Perhaps the only downside for these is mobility. Where other earbuds come with their own pocket-sized case, these will require the Lenovo laptop to be brought along for storage and charging.

As for the laptop itself; the ThinkBook 15 Gen 2 is equipped with a slim bezel 15-inch FHD display, a choice of either an 11th gen Intel Core or AMD Ryzen 4000 series processor, up to 40GB RAM, various HDD and SSD storage configurations, and an optional NVIDIA MX450 GPU. Connectivity-wise, the device includes support for WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, Thunderbolt 4, USB-C, USB-A, HDMI, and also includes a SD card reader. The battery configurations offered with the new ThinkBook includes 45Wh and 60Wh options, which could last approximately six hours and eight hours respectively.

Other Lenovo models introduced alongside the laptop includes the ThinkBook 13s Gen 2, ThinkBook 13s Gen 2 AMD, ThinkBook 14 Gen, ThinkBook 14s Yoga, and the ThinkBook 15p i. All of which are slated to be released starting in October this year, with the ThinkBook 15 Gen 2 retailing at a starting price of US$570 (~RM2,370) for the Intel version or US$550 (~RM2,286) for AMD.
