Rumours of Intel’s launch event was first spotted on the Chinese social media platform, Weibo. The user, who goes by the handle Hardware Academy. Now, the original post was made in Chinese and the translation was done via Google Translate, so it’s expected that the translation will be less than accurate. In spite of this, one of the translated word in Hardware Academy’s post was “released” and when used in its entirety, clearly pointed towards his source’s information on Intel’s supposed launch next year.

For that matter, exact or official details about the GPUs are still scarce. As for what we do know about the Xe DG2, initial reports have pegged the GPU as having up to 512 Execution Units (EUs), along with 8GB of GDDR6 graphics memory. Moreover, leaks have also suggested that the top-tier GPU could be on par with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 or AMD Radeon RX 6700XT.
