Word of its port to the PC platform came from a report by Kotaku’s Jason Schreier, where he cited three sources that are “familiar with Sony’s plan.” He also mentions that Horizon: Zero Dawn will be published by Sony and will likely be sold on both Steam and Epic Games Store within this year.
While the claim has not been officially acknowledged by Sony, it’s not the first time a major PS4 exclusive was ported over to the PC platform. Last year we saw Quantic Dream’s Detroit: Become Human and Heavy Rain released on PC via Epic Games Store, while Kojima Productions’ Death Stranding was announced to be released on the platform in summer 2020. SIE Santa Monica Studios’ creative director Cory Barlog also expressed interest in porting over 2018’s God of War to PC in a tweet back in October.

If news of its port is accurate, it would be interesting to see how the game will perform on PC – especially with previous hardware limitations now unlocked. (Source: Kotaku.)
