For those unfamiliar, the IVY CLIQ range can be considered as Canon’s series of instant cameras thanks to their built-in Zink printers, which can produce photographs that also double as stickers. What sets Canon apart from other instant cameras is their ability to let users add in filters or effects to photos via an app, and even decide when to have them printed. The IVY CLIQ+2 features an 8MP sensor, a selfie mirror with LED ring lights surrounding its lens, and with three available shooting modes: Landscape, Portrait, and Selfie. It is also compatible with the Canon Mini Print application on mobile phones, which allows users to edit their photos with filters and borders. The CLIQ+2 is available in Rose Gold and Midnight Navy.
Meanwhile, the IVY CLIQ2 comes with a 5MP sensor, automatic flash and a selfie mirror surrounding its lens. Other than that, the camera also includes built-in frames and filters that are accessible directly from the camera without needing to connect to the Canon app. The CLIQ2 is available in three colour options: Petal Pink, Turquoise and Charcoal. The Canon IVY CLIQ+2 will retail at USD149 (~RM612), while the IVY CLIQ2 is at USD99 (~RM407). Both cameras are slated to be released in the US this month, but their availability in Malaysia is unconfirmed at this time. (Source: Canon US [1] [2] via PRnewswire)
