While the effect on the national Internet connection wasn’t as bad as per 17 to 19 November, the incident in Cherating still have some effects on the Internet traffic in Pahang, Sabah, and Sarawak. That being said, TM has rerouted the traffic immediately after the incident was detected in order to avoid congestion.

Just like previously, TM has also provided several pictures of the incident area as well as the repair job that was being done on the cable.

While the company surely still need to sort out other issues that still plaguing its relationship with customers, this is a good start as customers certainly don’t like being left in the dark when it comes to broken cables that could have an impact on their Internet services.
