The game launched with 10 hunters to choose from and three game modes. The first is called “Heart of the Hives” and it sounds like an interesting take on PvPvE (player versus player versus environment). Then there’s Alpha Hunters”, which pits eight teams of two against each other. And finally, there’s “Harvester Command”, which is Crucible’s version of King of the Hill.
You can get Crucible for free on Steam, and doing so early (before 3pm of 2 June 2020) will net you 1000 in-game credits. You can then use this to get the Pre-Season battle pass, which costs 950 credits. There’s also the option to pay for one of three Founder’s Packs, which will give you a head start on some rewards.
