Just in case you missed it, the EPF has begun accepting applications for its special withdrawal programme earlier this month, which is intended to help those needing financial assistance to cope with challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. Those interested to apply may do so before 30 April 2022 by visiting the same link mentioned earlier. It’s also worth noting that the application is only available to EPF members who are below 55 years of age....

First on the list is the CPU, otherwise known as the Cortex-A78. The new processor is a direct successor to the current Cortex-A77 and while it’s based on the same architecture, it has approximately 20% better performance and efficiency. All while maintaining the same mobile thermal efficiency as the Cortex-A77. Speaking of Cortex processors, ARM also announced that it is introducing its Cortex-X1 CPU as part of its Cortex-X program for partners....

Earlier last month, the Astro GO app mysteriously disappeared from the LG Content Store – but made a quick comeback when it became obvious that the removal from the LG Content Store also removed the app from users who had already downloaded it. The Astro GO for LGTV app made its debut early last year, and was heavily promoted in the lead up to the 2018 World Cup by LG themselves....

Known for its light and thin form factor, the new ZenBook machines continue that trend with up-to-date technology and features. As a start, and like its VivoBook brethren, all ZenBook variants are equipped with ASUS’ new and improved ScreenPad 2.0 interactive touch display. ASUS says that having the ScreenPad 2.0 expands productivity on its notebooks. Providing additional features such as a digital numeric pad, a second display, as well as a control pad for media-based players such as Spotify and YouTube....

Cutting to the chase, one of the highlights of the new M16 is its larger screen-to-body ratio display that measures 16-inches, and is crammed into a 15.6-inch body. Specifications Design When it comes to the looks and design of the M16, ASUS isn’t straying very far from its muse, the Zephyrus G Series laptops and more specifically, the Zephyrus G15. If one didn’t know any better, they’d be inclined to think that the M16 is the identical twin of ASUS’ Ryzen-powered laptop. On the surface of the M16, the laptop sports the same magnesium allow chassis, same anti-fingerprint coating that works to a varying degree, and the same Ergolift hinge that has become the staple of all Zephyrus laptops....

For starters, the notebook’s display has a thinner display, allowing ASUS to squeeze a 15.6-inch display into a 14.2-inch frame. On that note, the display still maintains the Full HD resolution, as well as the 144Hz refresh rate and 3ms response time. One distinct addition to the Zephyrus S are the DisplayPort and USB Type-C ports situated in the middle of the notebook’s spine. Despite these additions, ASUS also managed to make the notebook 12% slimmer than the original Zephyrus....

The international version of the Aya Neo is also actually slightly improved over the Founder’s edition. On its Indiegogo page, the company says that the new model features an improved operating system, rumble motors, screen quality, and buttons. And despite the many improvements, it also manages to be lighter than the original, which is pretty amazing. But to quickly go over its specs, the Aya Neo packs an AMD Ryzen 5 4500U processor with onboard Vega graphics, 16GB of LPDDR4X RAM, a 47Wh battery, and an option of either 500GB or 1TB SSD for storage....

In support of the development of the local electric vehicle industry, the government has announced that EVs will be fully exempted from import duty, excise duty, and even sales tax. Apart from that, an income tax relief of up to RM2,500 will be granted to individuals for the purchase, installation, rent, hire purchase, as well as subscription fees for EV charging facilities. Tengku Zafrul also revealed that EVs will receive a 100% road tax exemption....

Through eStart, a one-off transaction of RM150 will be deposited into eligible individuals’ e-wallet account, although there’s no detail yet on which e-wallet services will be participating this time around. As you might expect from its Pro moniker, the newly announced model carries a number of upgrades over the original Black Shark 2. Among them is a new processor in the form of Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus as well as UFS 3.0-based internal storage. At the same time, the Black Shark 2 Pro’s 6.39-inch AMOLED display has better latency than the original model at 34.7ms and 240Hz touch report rate although its refresh rate is still 60Hz....
