Codenamed as Project Scarlett, the announcement today has revealed a number of details which have been circling the rumour mill for quite some time. Among them is the confirmation that Project Scarlett is powered by a custom processor from AMD. Just like the next-generation Sony PlayStation, the custom chip also contains a Zen 2-based CPU alongside a Radeon Navi GPU which is based on the newly announced RDNA architecture. Similarly, Microsoft has also stated that Project Scarlett will be able to deliver framerate of up to 120fps, real-time hardware-accelerated ray tracing and resolution of up to 8K....

The partnership sees Foodpanda offering hundreds of Xiaomi’s smart devices, audio and mobile accessories, and household appliances under its “shops” section. This means that consumers will be able to purchase any of these products in the Foodpanda app and have it delivered within 30 minutes. What’s more, the Foodpanda app will be pre-installed in all new Xiaomi smartphones in 10 Asian markets, namely Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Pakistan, Taiwan, Philippines, Bangladesh, Laos, Cambodia, and Myanmar....

Word of the exclusivity comes by way of a China-based leakster, Digital Chat Station, who made the revelation via Weibo. To be fair, there’s no additional information about the limited exclusivity period for Xiaomi, but considering the company’s trend and habits, it’s possible that the Snapdragon 875 exclusivity may only be applicable to the Mi 11 when it goes on sale in China. Which is to say, it isn’t the longest exclusivity period....

As a refresher, Xiaomi launched the Mi TV P1 series for the local market back in May last year, which consists of three display sizes: 32, 43, and 55-inches. However, the 43-inch model is not included as part of this new promotion. As per Microsoft’s Windows Health Dashboard, the bug affect some image editing programs, where they might not render colours accurately on certain HDR displays. One such issue with the bug is reportedly visible with white colours on-screen; instead of the expected sheet white, some users are greeted with a bright yellow tone or other colours.
