The Japanese Tamagotchi website shows two version of the Eevee Tamagotchi. One is roughly translated as “I Love You, Eevee” while the other is simply “Colourful Friends.” Whichever your preferred colour, you’ll be able to raise your Eevee as you would a Tamagotchi. This involves feeding them, washing after them, and it will eventually evolve into one of the eight possible Eeveelutions. The Eevee Tamagotchi is slated to be released in Japan on 26 January 2019, and for JPY2300 (~RM85)....

And indeed, Pokemon Unite will have two release dates. According to the description of a new trailer, the game will first come to the Nintendo Switch in July. Mobile devices will get it two months later, in September. No exact dates beyond the months they come out in, unfortunately. On its official website, Pokemon Unite is listed as a free-to-start game. Which is Nintendo’s own flavour of free-to-play, but with a fair bit of unwelcome restrictions....

True to the leak that we have seen earlier this week, the Mate 30 RS features a leather back cover that surrounds the middle glass area which houses the phone’s rear quad-camera setup. The new quick charging technology will be first made available to Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 765 and 765G chipsets, although it should be noted that both chipsets support Quick Charge 3+ and Quick Charge 4+. Performance-wise, Quick Charge 3+ is able to go from 0% to 50% with just 15 minutes of charging, while also keeping a device 9°C cooler in the process. Qualcomm says that Quick Charge 3+ is fully backwards compatible with currently existing accessories that device owners may have, and that it will also support the standard USB-A to USB-C cables, plus accessories that also support scalable voltage with 20mV steps....

In general, the collaboration is part of the company’s move to expand the reach of Windows On Snapdragon (WoS) products within Southeast Asia. While neither the actual product from SNS Network nor the release timeline was revealed during the briefing today, Qualcomm’s new effort to push Windows On Snapdragon in this region will revolve around Snapdragon 850 and Snapdragon 7c. At the moment, there is only one WoS device available in Malaysia which is the Microsoft Surface Pro X....

As it shares some similarity in design with the Snapdragon 400 series, it will have four cores – most likely A53 ARM cores. Further, the A53 cores will be clocked at 1.3GHz and the pairing GPU (currently of unknown origin) will be clocked at 650MHz. Devices under the Android Go program are typically on the low-end spectrum, so the new SoC will pair well with either 1GB or 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM and up to 16GB of storage....

Being a compact variant, you’re not wrong to assume that it might not get all of the bells and whistles featured on its larger sibling. As indicated by its name, the Raptor 27 is a gaming monitor fitted with a 27-inch non-glare IPS panel. Specs-wise, the display is a 1440p panel (2560 x 1440) with a maximum refresh rate of 165Hz and a 1ms ultra-low motion blue response time. It also has a maximum brightness of 400 nits and is THX certified, a point that Razer is eager to point out that no other monitor on the market has received....

This is not the first time that Razer has tinkered around the idea of having modular components. Back in 2014, the company brought along Project Christine to CES which was a conceptual desktop gaming PC that features swappable components. For Project Sophia, Razer essentially redesigned a motherboard from a Blade gaming laptop and then integrates it into a desk. The company’s CEO, Min-Liang Tan tweeted that the desk’s CPU/GPU module carries an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti graphics....

Just as we’ve seen before, the phone comes with a 6.5-inch HD+ display, and a MediaTek G80 chipset. On the latter, it is the first phone in the country to be running said chipset. Other items on the spec sheet include a 5000mAh battery, which is pretty large. In terms of its cameras, the realme 6i runs a quad-camera combo setup, which consists of a 48MP main shooter, an 8MP wide angle camera, a 2MP portrait and 2MP macro lens....

Aside from that, the new budget phone also carries a 13MP camera on its back. realme has also decided to include monochrome and macro cameras even though both of them are equipped with a 2MP sensor and f/2.4 3P lens. Another major attraction of the new C21 is its humongous 5000mAh battery that also supports fast chargers with a power rating of up to 10W. The phone also comes with reverse charging capability but realme somehow has chosen to equip a Micro-USB port into C21 which is an odd choice in 2021....

Founder Jim Jannard has announced that he’s also retiring due to “a few health issues”. That said, Jannard says that the existing Hydrogen One “will continue to be supported in the future”. Jannard initially posted on the H4V forums that the Hydrogen progam was undergoing a “radical change”. The company even had a teaser up for a short period of time. It depicted what looked like modular cameras for the phone, as well as other attachments that could improve battery life and expandable storage....

YouTube channel Spawn Wave first broke the rumour, which was then corroborated by sources to Video Games Chronicle. It will likely be able to reuse assets, mechanics and egnine from RE2R. For now it’s still unclear if, or when, Capcom intends to announce the title. As for its release, it’s also rumoured to be out in 2020, without any exact date or general window. If these rumours are true, then it’s likely that Capcom is leveraging the success of RE2R....

In a blog post, executive producer Drew McCoy said that the team is pushing out plans for future Titanfall games to fully focus on Apex Legends. He also mentioned that no staff is being transferred between the two teams that Respawn currently employs. The two titles being Apex Legends and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, naturally. And indeed, Respawn has been putting a lot of effort into improving Apex Legends....

It seems that some Romanian gangs have taken to robbing Sony’s PlayStation 5 (PS5) deliveries – while in transit and before the consoles can even reach their destinations – in a manner that can only be described as something out of the Fast and Furious franchise. Basically, the heist involves multiple cars working tandem; several vehicles box in the targeted PS5 lorries, bringing their cruising speed down to around 80km/h....

The leaked images were first posted by Russian tech site andro-news. At a glance, the images show a phone with an edge-to-edge display and design that looks very similar to Samsung’s own Galaxy S8 or S9 smartphones. One major and distinct difference in its design being the lone bezel at its top, and the absence of one at the bottom. It is speculated that the lack of a bottom bezel is to accommodate for what could possibly be an in-display fingerprint scanner....
