According to the details, the 12900K listed in the database appears to be running on 12-cores, with all cores running at a speed of 3200MHz. Leakster site Videocardz is of the belief that this could be a simple case of BaseMark having listed the wrong data. One other thing to note is that the system being used to run the alleged 12900K appears to be an Acer-based system with the product name Z69H6-AM, further adding to the possibility that the system in question is indeed, a Z690 platform....

According to Videocardz, the RTX 3060 could ship out in two variants: one version with 6GB GDDR6 and another with double that amount at 12GB GDDR6 memory. It seems that a few PC enthusiasts have successfully managed to get the new Ryzen 5000 series processors, to run on AMD’s 1st generation 300 series AM4 motherboards. Specifically, they managed to get it running on an entry-level A320 and high-end X370 motherboard. In the case of the X370, the individual – he made a post on overclock.net about it – managed to pull off the feat by flashing his Gigabyte X370 motherboard with what we can only assume is a custom “beta BIOS” with AGESA code that supports the Zen 3 architecture....

According to points sifted from a recent announcement, the compatibility will enabled through an optional AGESA code that AMD will supply to motherboard vendors; in other words, you’ll need to manually install these codes as a BIOS update for the motherboards. Moreover, these optional BIOS updates will be a one-off, one-way “upgrade”, meaning that once you’ve flashed the motherboard, users will be unable to flash back to an older BIOS....

TF International Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo says in a research note that these MacBooks will make an appearance either in the last quarter of 2020, or the first quarter of 2021. The note, obtained by MacRumors, does not mention any other details. This includes whether these will be MacBook Air or Pro models, or even both. Apple has been reportedly making its own ARM-based processors since 2018. Even back then, the company projected that it will start using them for its own products by 2020....
