Over the last few months, WhatsApp has been embroiled in worldwide privacy controversy after announcing it would require users to give it permission to share their data with parent company Facebook. The company insists that the policy change would only affect users who message businesses on its platform. India, however, is having none of that. According to Reuters, the country’s technology ministry (which sent the letter) wants a response from the company by 25 May, threatening legal action if the latter doesn’t comply with India’s Information Technology Act....
However, according to a report by The Verge, Instagram has recently implemented “suggested posts” feature into its app. This would mean that you will never run out of posts to view on your Instagram feed moving forward. Additionally, these posts will be coming from accounts that you do not follow on Instagram. On the other hand, do note that the posts you receive on Explore will not be the same as ones you will be receiving from “suggested posts”....
This time around, QR codes can be used to share a variety of content on Instagram, including photos, videos, Reels, tags, and even locations from a user’s own account.
