Researchers from Check Point and CyberInt informed EA that if the vulnerability isn’t patched, it would enable hackers to “hijack and exploit” the accounts of million. Allowing them to steal the client’s Single Sign-On authorisation token, thus bypassing the traditional act of stealing login or password details. Both Check Point and CyberInt found the flaw when they managed to take control of an EA subdomain via the URL “eaplayinvite.ea.com”. The product is called the Mi Surface 34 and just as previous reports suggested, it is Xiaomi’s first gaming monitor. Specs-wise, it has a 34-inch curved, ultra-wide VA panel, with a maximum resolution of 3440 x 1440. Along with a 21:9 aspect ratio. Additionally, the monitor also has a 144Hz refresh rate, 4ms response time, and utilises AMD’s FreeSync anti-tearing technology. Regarding the latter feature, it is still not known if the Mi Surface 34 is or will be given compatibility with NVIDIA’s G-SYNC technology....
