[ORIGINAL ARTICLE: 8 September – 12:49pm] The government today has begun to administer the COVID-19 vaccine to teenagers from the age of 12 and 17 years old, according to Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin. The rollout kicks off in Sarawak while Labuan and Klang Valley will be the next on the list. Minister Khairy says that the program will first prioritise 16 to 17-year-olds as well as those aged 12 to 15 with chronic medical conditions....

As their names suggest, the Nokia 110 4G and 105 4G are equipped with 4G LTE connectivity. While they may not support WiFi and hotspot tethering, the phones are capable of crystal clear high quality HD Voice calls over VoLTE. The Nokia 110 and 105 were first released in 2019, but they only had 2G connectivity. Aside from the 4g LTE upgrade, the models have received some design updates. Unlike the V40 and 50 series that launched earlier this year, the new Honor Magic3 series is the first from the brand to feature Qualcomm’s current flagship chipset platform. Specifically, the standard model of the phone features a Snapdragon 888 SoC, while the Pro and Pro Plus are equipped with the newly introduced Snapdragon 888 Plus. In terms of memory configurations, both the standard version of the Magic3 arrives with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage, while the Pro comes with up to 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage, and finally the Pro Plus comes default with 12GB RAM and 512GB internal storage capacity....

While the MagicBook 15 came with no variants, the HONOR MagicBook X15 has two. That being said, the only differences here looks to be the processor and the corresponding storage space. One comes with an Intel Core i3-10110U, while the other has a Core i5-10210U. And reflecting this, the former has 256GB of storage space, while the latter has 512GB. It’s important to note that both options are 10th Gen Intel Core chips....

According to a report by RootMyGalaxy, photos of the HONOR V40 recently surfaced online on Weibo which showcased its front and rear features. The images reveal that the new HONOR flagship sports a curved display with a pill-shaped selfie camera cutout on the top left corner. Meanwhile, on its back is a quad camera array housed in a circular island featuring a watch-like dial. The website believes that the V40 may come with a FHD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate and a battery that supports 66W fast charging, while its rear camera setup may feature a 50MP primary sensor....

Much like the Kirin 810, the Kirin 820 5G is based on Huawei’s current 7nm die lithography and comprises four ARM A76 cores and four A55 cores. Running on a 1+3+4 configuration CPU configuration. The GPU used in the chipset is a Mali-G57 that Huawei says offers 38% better performance over last generation’s Mali-G52. Further, and just likes predecessor as well, the Kirin 820 also houses a Neural Processing Unit (NPU) that reportedly performs 73% better than the NPU in the Kirin 810....

Last week, Huawei CEO Richard Yu ended his two-hour presentation and the launch of the Mate 30 series talking about Huawei Mobile Services (HMS). In the one minute he spoke on the issue, Yu confirmed that the Mate 30 series cannot ship out with the Google Mobile Services (GMS) core installed on the phone. That means Google-centric apps such as the all-important Play store, Gmail, or Google Maps won’t be present on the devices when they officially ship out to stores later next month....

Said to be 45% smaller than the standard microSD cards, the new NM Card is able to deliver transfer speed of up to 90MB/s. Huawei is currently the only company that is manufacturing the card although the company hopes that it will be adopted as an industry standard in the near future. In Malaysia, Huawei NM Card can be obtained with a storage space of 128GB for RM 298 and it will be made available starting from 15 November onwards....

Since Huawei P series is focused on photography, it goes without saying that the main attraction of the P30 series devices is their camera system which Huawei has co-developed with Leica. For the P30 Pro, its rear camera system consisted of a 40MP wide-tangle 27mm f/1.6 camera alongside 20MP ultra wide-angle 16mm f/2.2 and 8MP 5x telephoto 125mm f/3.4 cameras. Aside from the 5x optical zoom capability, P30 Pro’s periscope-shaped telephoto camera can also zoom in further via its 10x hybrid zoom feature as well as 50x digital zoom....

According to a post on Weibo, the person claims to have obtained insider information. Huawei has struck a deal with Samsung; the Korean electronics giant all the OLED panels for the P30 flagship smartphones. There is a handful of reasons for Huawei to change its supplier. Samsung is one of the largest OLED suppliers in the industry. The company has the manpower to meet the high demands of OLED panels....

The device, bearing the model number ANA-NX9, is clearly listed as being a 5G device, but like most SIRIM certifications, there’s isn’t a detailed specifications sheet provided. More importantly, multiple sources have identified this device to be the P40 5G. As a confirmation of sorts, the product detail is duplicated under another company, Zitron Enterprise (M) Sdn Bhd. For those who don’t know, Zitron Enterprise is the local distributor for several smartphone brands in Malaysia, including Huawei....

Currently, IKEA and Sonos showcased two different models– a bookshelf speaker and a table lamp speaker. Even though the Onyx might come with a 15.6-inch display while Selenite has a bigger 17.3-inch display, both of them features a Full HD IPS panel with 144Hz refresh rate and sRGB coverage of 100%....

Industry analyst Daniel Ahmad posted a tweet to that effect, but notes that Epic Games and EA have yet to do the same. Which means that the Epic Games Store and Origin remain unusable in Indonesia. There have also been no official confirmation yet as to when the two companies intend to register themselves with Kominfo. However, Epic Games Store / Services and EA’s Origin still remained blocked and there is no official confirmation on whether they plan to register yet....
